Gyrodyne owns, operates, and manages over 260,000 square feet of rental space which is comprised of twenty one buildings located on two properties in Long Island, New York and two others, one in northern Westchester County, New York and the other in Fairfax County, Virginia. The Long Island facilities include the Flowerfield Industrial Park in Saint James and the Port Jefferson Professional Park in Port Jefferson Station, New York, while the Westchester property is comprised of the Cortlandt Medical Center in Cortlandt Manor, New York. The most recent addition to the Company's rental facilities is the March 2009 acquisition of the Fairfax Medical Center in Fairfax, Virginia. The Port Jefferson, Cortlandt Manor, and Fairfax properties all represent the Company's focus on investing in the medical office building sector.
